Pleasanton CA, October 1, 2024 – ZippyAssist is excited to announce the release of Zippy Voice Messages, a new feature designed to help operators in unattended retail and self-service environments manage inbound customer support calls with greater efficiency. Now available to all ZippyAssist customers at no extra charge, Zippy Voice Messages automates the answering and processing of customer calls 24/7, while seamlessly integrating call data into ZippyAssist’s comprehensive customer support platform.

In the unattended retail and self-service, operators often rely on call centers or standard voicemail services to manage after-hours or weekend calls. Even during regular business hours, operators may not always be available to answer every call personally. The information from these calls then needs to be reviewed and pre-processed before in can be acted upon. This task is often manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors.

Zippy Voice Messages addresses this problem by answering every incoming call to an operator’s dedicated ZippyAssist number (or forwarded numbers), then prompting the caller to leave essential details in a voice messages. The system transcribes the message, and all relevant data, such as equipment and customer information, is linked to the call for immediate use. Using ZippyAssist's other features, operators can quickly handle help requests or refund requests directly from the call data, with the click of a button.
